Section Two: Chambers Work
Introduction
The term 'chambers' means a private room for a judicial officer. It implies a more formal setting than an office as it is a place in which judicial decisions are made. However in reality it is simply an office in which Justices make decisions on matters that do not need to be heard in open court. Afterwards you, in most instances, return to the courtroom to state your decisions aloud for the record.
